Maddy similar thing happened to me with books 'suryavar Swari' CHandravar Swari, COunt of Monte Christo(MArathi), and RObinson Family(MArathi) when I was 7-8 years old. I read these books repeatedly every vacation. These were translated by Bha Ra Bhagawat. Originals were written by Jule Verne and Alexander Dumas. I read GOd Father when I was in 11th and I read that repeatedly 3-4 times. I also read Sidney Sheldon's Rage of Aggels multiple times.My hubby read 'Ek Ek Pan Galavaya ' by Gauri Deshpande, so many times that its pages really started falling(ha ha)
