Thanks BJ for explaining this for all the folks who "need
to know." Useful information.

One step further is "imagemapping."

It is possible to make one image link to several pages,
depending on where the image is clicked. You simply
specify which areas of the image should link to where.

If you have a large image with several components, like the
images on the ABHP home page, you can add alt text and
links to those "multi-purpose" images. BJ added those for
us here at ABHP - look at our home page at the second image
down, mouse over and when the alt text pops up, you can
click and be taken to another page.

There are still a couple of free imagemapping utilities out
there for download too.
