Yes, just amassing a large number of followers is not going to be very beneficial. But, amassing an audience of fans is a smart move. Being able to follow folks who have something which can benefit your business or your life in general is also a smart move. Twitter makes both possible. Since you are a web designer, you may be able to answer a question for me. I just noticed that someone who is a member of my Twitter audience is using a video clip for her Twitter picture. How did Tiffany Dow do that? (While I have made an inquiry to her via a Tweet bout this, I have yet to get feedback.) This video clip placement may be relatively easy to do if you know how to do it. Nevertheless, I think Tiffany's approach does indeed stand out and get your attention.
