Hey Folks.
Here is an excerpt from an article at WebProNews that might
give you an idea that yeah, you do still need a web site:

Can you be successful without a site? I think so. However, having a site gives you a more stable foundation,
and still creates more opportunities than if you didn't have one. When you have a site, you have control.
You don't have to adhere to the policy guidelines of any third-party platform. If Facebook decides to shut its
Pages down (as Yahoo did with GeoCities, for example), you still have your own site that they can't touch.
For that matter, having your own site certainly lends credibility to your brand."

Mostly the above article is promoting social media and has
some links to "how to's" for some Facebook stuff too. I
did not click on those links so if they turn out to be not
of use to you, don't shoot the messenger.
So what's you take on this subject?
DO business still a web site or do they do OK with social
media only?
