I was listening to a Webinar about Social media the other day and the presenter seems to like Twitter over Facebook. No mention of Buzz.

With Twitter he says you can use a Twitter utility that alerts and collects any and all keyword or tag label subjects you want to hear about. Such as 'Fundraising' or 'non-profit'. The same utility can sort out all your connections as private or public or whatever. This sounds like a time-saver filter for me.

I am on FB for personal discussion and to build awareness of Ventura Maritime Museum on FB. According to the webinar, Twitter is suppose to work better at building awareness by twittering announcements, activities, events, fundraisers, etc., that may be heard by other related organizations. It would also allow me to see who is looking and to connect with them.
