As we develop web sites - a fairly common task is to collect information from our visitors / customers. 

Sometimes it's as simple as an email address for a newsletter, and many times it's more complex and detailed.

How do you collect information from web forms?

Does your tool / method offer any validation such as proper telephone format, zip code, numeric entries, date ranges, etc.
