Hank, looking back at my answers I did not outline one major component.
I offer a form consisting of a buy now or subscribe button which is linked to the PayPal or 2CO purchase routine.
The routine collects credit card information which, when completed sends people to a form which collects domain name information.
None of the forms need a captcha, the first not having a data entry field, the second form being only known to successful purchasers.
The sequence is that the potential customer hits the buy now button and is sent to access paypal or 2CO purchase routines.
The routines are configured with unique landing pages for successful and unsuccessful purchase routines.
These are the pages where you collect information for your use.
There are some shopping carts that will integrate data entry fields in the purchase process. CRELoaded is one of these.
