How do you know Sqidoo makes money? Do they report their sales and profits?

Sqidoo only makes money when you click on an ad and that takes you away from the page. That is not in teh best interst of your lens and that is starting to fail.

I do not see where they charge for API calls.

Most of the free services or freemium will become extinct in the next 12 months. Investors will demand returns and when they run out of money, it will be hard to get new money.
