Most of these companies are using Squidoo, Twitter and other new media beacuse they do not want to chance being left out. The amountthey spend means little to them. The amount Twitter gives comes from what reveue they generate , how much do they give?

Most of it is just fads. Remeber VRML? Every one of tehse companies built 3d stores.
