Frankly, I've never met a good salesperson willing to work commission only unless he/she saw it as an investment in the company, was also getting some major stock and the promise of a future executive-level position once the company got off the ground.
I've never met a good salesperson willing to work commission only for a company already off the ground.
Why? Because good salespeople CAN get jobs with large base salaries + commission... why would they go commission only?
