On another Ryze network I initiated a discussion concerning California's budget crisis. Granted, there are no simple solutions. However, I think the mindset of those in power matters. And, although I am just one person I believe I can impact that mindset with your help. I am convinced this can be done from watching the way Twitter seems to be impacting the world. It is truly amazing the way you can build an audience by simply first becoming an audience member for someone else, first. What I am seeing every day on Twitter and Squidoo is wikinomics at work - mutual collaborative efforts that reduce expenses and at the same time sells products and services. Commerce does not need big government programs to work. It simply needs a motivated and caring community. Want some examples? Look no farther than Ebay, Craigslist and Wikipedia.
