Using technology for the sake of technology and not getting to the crux of the matter within one or two clicks is bad. Somebody forgot the acronym KISS completely. But guess between the marketing spiel to look COOL and programming enthusiasm to show off flash skills - information itself gets lost. Though Loranger pointed out that the links are available on the navigational bar, its human tendency to get distracted when the major portion of the website is displaying some action.
I dont condone Flash if done well, they do help in putting across the message quite easily. One of the first sites that i remember being quite enthralled with its effective use of the multimedia quite effectively was http://www.balthaser.com/. It has come a long way now, but it still uses multimedia quite effectively. I dont know what Kyle & the rest thinks about it. Comments, pls.
