on SOX and the role of content management |

This is just to check if anybody in the group has worked on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and its impact on content management in organizations (especially non-profit and development organizations, even though some people may consider them beyond the pale of SOX).
Can you please help me find answers to questions like -- which content areas have become more critical after SOX, what are some of the specialized content development tools organizations have used to deal with SOX related documentation challenges (I understand SigmaFlow is one such tool), are any case studies available, are there any relevant training/conferences/seminars out there, and most critically, how should knowledge support teams gear up to face the challenges of SOX implementation?
thanks, prasanna
I put together a few thoughts on this topic in a paper a few months ago (http://www.prasanna.org/KM_value_proposition_site.htm), and answers to the questions above will go a long way in helping put some of these ideas into practice. Thanks for your help. Private Reply to Prasanna Lal Das (new win) |
