Manish Vashist		Kyocera-Wireless Corp. (KWC, US) is the cell phone division of Kyocera Corp. (KCJ, Japan) and Kyocera-Wireless India Pvt. Ltd. (KWI, Bangalore) is 100% owned subsidiary of the cell phone division. KWI is expanding its Human Factors group (Interaction Designers and User Interaction Specification) and need some qualified and experienced people in the field that satisfy the following requirements: REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelors or Masters degree in HCI, Product Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Science, Engineering, Architecture, Art or 4 to 5+ years of experience in the field of interaction design, UI design, industrial design, conducting and analyzing usability testing and user research activities • Good technical writing skills – ability to document designs clearly and concisely is a MUST • Strong visualization/conceptualization abilities, creativity and extreme detail-orientedness • Ability to utilizes marketing data, conduct/use usability studies, heuristic analysis and other interaction design techniques to create meaningful user experiences • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teaming skills with a good sense of humor • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills • Must be proficient with common design tools and technologies such as MS Office, MS Visio etc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Creates user interface specifications and use cases that lay out the user’s interaction with the phone in great detail. • Act as a bridge between MOBILE-PHONE-USERS and the DEVELOPMENT-TEAMS • Research and develop new generation user interface paradigms and implement best practices in process and project execution. • Provide clarifications on UI specification to development and product test teams • Provide feedback for continuous processes improvement • Work with product management and development teams to deliver products on time in iterative and incremental development cycles. Note: Candidate will need to go through a written usability screening test via email and on-site design exercises as part of the interview process.
