Frank Collyer		"One thing to note is that 8-bit monitors don't die and get burried" Gavin writes. Not to dispute the valid point he makes, but amusingly enough, over the last couple of years, I have noticed at more than a couple of companies, palettes parked in hallways and basements stacked & shrink-wrapped with old 14" & 15" monitors, presumably 8-bit. They are not only a dying breed, but those palettes ain't for resale. A couple of IT guys mentioned that even employees wouldn't take them! Best- Frank Private Reply to Frank Collyer (new win)
