re: Great survey tool...(Cost & Implementation) |

OK, I have some numbers and details from Usability Sciences for their WebIQ survey product (brace yourself):
For all of their services including:
- implementation (approx. 4-6 entry and 4-6 exit questions)
- consulting on question development
- analysis and recommendations of survey results and click steam data
The total is: $12,500!
After regaining consciousness I asked the rep what the price would be if we just had them implement the survey and that we would do our own analysis (what we wanted to do in the 1st place) and the total is: $7,500!
They will discount further for agencies that give them repeat business, but I still think it's too high.
It's a shame because the product is truely amazing and I can see the benefits of using it over a standard survey. It does tell you whether or not a user is accomplishing their intended goal and what that goal is. Web analytics and user testing can't answer that.

The questions in the survey are actually dynamically generated based on what the user does. It must be amazing to compare a user's reason for coming to the site and what they actually do on the site.
