Well maybe Norm Wilcox has given their gear a facelift since last year? My comment was not about their web images but about the real unit I tested hands-on.

I agree with Derek that Joe Hadden gives great customer service, and they will customize to please. But we found almost no price difference between the two companies, and we also found UsabilitySystems very flexible on their design. In fact, I think they customize 80% of the units they sell...

So it looks like you have two strong candidates here, both with good customer service and both with satisfied customers on Ryze.

So double-check the costs and flip a coin!

They did a lot of customization, such as using a Sony DSR-11 for taping up to 4.5 hours on a single tape and three LCD monitors (face, converter, PIP0. They had to use a shoe horn to get those things in. And it is a carry on, as well.
