Job Description: immediate need for experienced (1 to 3 years) human factors engineer to conduct usability tests for medical equipment and systems. Probably requires 2 days a week. Methodology is already developed and proven. Probably conduct testing on 3 to 4 users per day - total test population will be approximately 30 users. This position would be working closely with one of our client's senior HFEs. Looking for someone with quantitative data analysis skills. Task analysis, timing and error rates will be considered during the testing. Scheduling flexibility is very important - testing will be done at hospitals in the New York Metro Area and some outside this area (travel required) - and availability of users will often be on short notice.
