Righteous & Wicked		I am currently doing some research as part of my part-time Ph. D. dissertation work at Virginia Tech. I am interested in the concept of how applications and other information systems can be designed for PDAs, cell phones, tablets etc. so that users can transition from one device to another without having adverse effects on their understanding of the core system. The domain I have selected is news websites, which are the most frequently visited sites on the web and serve as an ideal platform to test out various theories. A part of the research deals with profiling how users gather news in day-to-day life especially when it comes to getting news online. In order to collect related data, a survey has been designed to serve as a starting point for the research. We have 42 inch plasma display which I am planning to use with RF ids. Based on the users present in the room and their preferences, the news can be restructured for maximum coverage.
