Hi all,
Liquor is usually consumed as follows
Aperitifs- before a meal
Wines usually during a meal
Post prandial-after a meal usually dinner

pre prandial drinks are:
1. Aperitif wines-usually the fortified type like a sherry or port or martinis
2. cocktails
3. beers
4. perhaps a srtaight liquor like any spirit

Wines with a meal:
White with white meats
rose with light meats and young animals
reds with red meats
perhaps a beer too

post prandial:
Liqueurs and cognac
