My frined had the same problem and we just got it done an hour ago. They say it is a manufacturing defect. You can go to a service centre for Canon right opposite new Shanti Sagar in CNH road.It seems Canon is taking responsibility of replacing the sensor free of cost. will take a month or so as it has to go to Delhi and come.
