RK Misra, many many congratulations on winning the Lead India contest, and i join Tarun in welcoming you to BBN.
Probably what you mean by the 'influencing factor' is what i understand as 'trickle effect',am i right, how effective would that be in such a large country as our's.
I recall a incident maybe around 3 years ago, media was interviewing Sitaram yechuri, communist leader, think it was Dr Kalam's second time running for the post, media was pointing out to Yechuri that Bloggers and ppl connected to Net were favouring Dr kalam for the second term, would his party support that,he in all earnestness pointed out that, the ppl involved with Net politics all over the nation is far less in number compared to the ppl participating/voting in a corporation election, meaning ppl associated with internet, blogs, ppl participating through sms polls, etc etc, cant really make any difference to change the destiny of our country.
I mean ppl should actively/physically participate in politics, only then will there be a change,no arm chair discussion will help.
I am ready to join.
My best wishes on your endeavour Misra even if in the thick of things and busy schedule, you forget to involve me,not a problem,i would join you enroute, somewhere, sometime.
