Hi Everybody,
Thanks a lot and a ton to bring such a topic out here. I would like to add a few lines to the whole episode and story.
1. Ramji meets Meena
2. They see many properties
3. Finally one is okayed
4. An advance of Rs.3500 is paid to the landlord as advance
5. A copy of the papers are taken
6. After a week Ramji learns that the property is not worth it
7. Ramji returns the papers and asks for his money back
8. Meena contacts the other broker to understand the methodologies to get back the money from the landlord
9. Meena continously receives calls from Ramji and immediately follows up with the other broker to understand the status. The calls were made sometimes even very early morning or late nights from unknown numbers too.
10. This calls between Meena & Ramji, Meena & Broker goes on for a little more than 10 - 15 days
11. One fine day Ramji threatens to give police complaint
12. After that call which was very indecently put by Mr.Ramji about police her husband suggests her to stop receiving calls from Ramji and teach him a lesson that he should not threaten people
13. Ramji makes many attempts to call Meena from various different numbers and fails to talk to Meena
14. Comes on to the forum and without proper evidences of truth just puts up a half baked story
Now
Client : Mr.Ramji - A professional CA
Brokers: Housewife Meena who was ex-Asst.Mgr - HR & Admin in an IT firm. Stopped working after marriage and starts doing small time freelance real estate alongwith her friends who are also housewives. The second and third brokers who knew the seller of the property
Who Am I? Husband of Meena who witnessed the whole episode and person who introduced meena to Ryze and told her its benefits.
Now, to the part of comments and appreciation.
Yes, I agree Rs.3,500 is a big amount and there have been times in my life when I have lived the whole day with just Rs.10 eating bananas as food. I have come up the hard way and today head a branch for a reputed consulting firm. Now, the point to ponder is
Firstly, Mr.Ramji gave the money to the landlord and yes off course Meena, second broker and third broker witnessed the payment. After Mr.Ramji understood the status of the papers of the property it was his duty to talk to the landlord about the issues and re-collect the money. But he didnt but wanted Meena's assistance. This is where the first mistake Meena did by agreeing to get the money back. The landlord has made her run for the money. She has travelled from HSR layout to Chandra Layout in Vijaynagar by auto many times to get a hold of the other brokers and the landlords to get the money. She had even set a deadline to give back the money to Mr.Ramji from her own savings but before that Mr.Ramji's threat of police made her a little serious to think why she should do anything for a human who is not considerate enough.
I definitely agree with everyone that this is not right to come on to such forum and talk such issues. But why I took a step further was to make people understand that there is a person who is making small efforts to keep herself engaged. Losses / profits. I know Meena personally she has lost a lot in this small effort of hers than make money or rather she hasnt yet made any money out of her pretty small venture effort as yet.
As a person who is a professional he should have had the limit wherein he shouldnt have crossed. And also, Meena had told that if she is not successfully in getting the money within certain timeframe she would pay the money out of her savings. After this someone tries to threaten a person the mindset of the person changes from helping hand to this shoddy way.
My only request, please understand that every human being is sensitive and should respect others sensitive issues. Every animal gets into offensive mode when there is a sense of attack.
I STILL SUPPORT MY WIFE IN HER VENTURE AND WAITING FOR A DAY WHEN SHE WILL COME OVER AND TELL ME THAT SHE HAS EARNED A SMALL PORTION OF MONEY WHICH SHE WOULD CONTRIBUTE TO THE FAMILY. HOW MUCH EVER COULD BE THE EXPENSE BUT THE SENSE OF SUCCESS WILL KEEP MANY HOPES ALIVE.
