Good to see so many familiar faces, and a few new ones!

You know, a few years ago, when Facebook and LinkedIn started getting really big, and Ryze wasn't doing much to update their site, it started feeling kind of "clunky" and not up with the times.

But now, with Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., all trying to do stuff in real-time -- constantly polling the server for new messages -- plus all the advertising, plus all the many "shiny objects" that are constantly vying for your attention... well, now, I think Ryze looks refreshingly simple and fast by comparison.

I know there are hundreds of millions of people on Facebook and LinkedIn, but if you're really going for NETWORKING -- true relationship-building and referrals -- not just exposure, do you really need all that? Does it even serve you well? Versus, say, 100-200 people that are really committed to serving and supporting each other and a simple, clean tool to enable communication?

I really appreciate Paul's initiative, and while I'm not giving up on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter any time soon, I'm definitely thinking it may be time to rethink Ryze and make it an essential tool in my toolkit again. It certainly was at one time -- I've generated tens of thousands of dollars via Ryze connections, and count many people I met here as friends, going on 10 years later.

Looking forward to networking with you all.
