The reason I asked about published authors is because I would like to help those published authors spread their message through my merchant association. As you know, book signings are a popular form of marketing. Well, on June 18th, my town celebrates with its annual western festival. My merchant association will be conducting a mixer at the Calpine Visitor Center and giving out door prizes. One of those prizes could be the autographed copy of a book by someone on this network.
However, rather than send a pre0-signed book, I would prefer the author send flyers about their books and one form (in a SASE) which would be sent to them containg the contact information of the door-prize winner. In this way, the author could really personalize his comments when providing the autograph.
Did I hear you right? For $50 you can create a hard-bound book from an e-book that is up to 500 pages long? If I sent you an Acrobat PDF file via email or on a CD, could you easily create a hard-bound book? What if I wanted more than just one? Does the price/copy go down as the quantity increases? What about books under 100 pages? Lower price since fewer pages?
