If you host offered you an email address like subscribe@ or on@ or join@, etc...... then you have email commands available.

Again, if your ezine contains addresses such as the one above, yes, you can be assisting in the spreading of a virus.  This doesn't mean you are infected, but if a subscriber becomes infected, it can spread.
