Lisa,
Ok... checked with the people who take care of sending out my ezine, keeping my data base and all that other good stuff (Relevanttools.com).
Didn't quite get the whole explanation... but I was reassured that the form people use, and the way the mailings and autoresponders are set up, are different from the email command method we have been discussing.
WHEWWWW!!!
Thanks to all for the heads up, though... you guys are great!

If you host offered you an email address like subscribe@ or on@ or join@, etc...... then you have email commands available. >Could I inadvertently get myself and others infected? Again, if your ezine contains addresses such as the one above, yes, you can be assisting in the spreading of a virus. This doesn't mean you are infected, but if a subscriber becomes infected, it can spread. best, lisa ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Private Reply to Georgie Marquez-Andre (new win) |
