Out of the list given above, I can see many organizations or individuals who fall in the broad category of environment / nature/ ecology.
To the best of my knowledge and experience -
1) Kalpavriksh is one organization that really does concrete work. You could contact Mr.Pankaj Sekhsaria.
2) Trekdi (run by 18 - 25 year olds) is another organisation that has been actively working along with Parisar (Mr.Sujit Patwardhan) to protect the forest on Vetal Tekdi. They are promising.
3) RANWA is mostly into environment awareness. They do carry out some programs / research towards this end. Dr.Ankur Patwardhan (Prof. at Garware college) is the person who is more active in this.
4) Ecological society of Dr.Prakash Gole, is more into consultancy and ecology education.
I could provide you with contact information of the above if required.
Then again, I have heard of AKANKSHA, an NGO run by a gutsy woman, which helps educate street children, etc.
