Lady loves to chew on plastic, she isn't picky, anything from Tupperware to the cheap stuff.
Shoes are a favorite, she didn't score any points with my other half, when she chewed up the fringe on his loafers. I felt I should buy him a new pair since she ruined his. I have had to thow away a few pairs of pumps and have others repaired. At the repair shop they give you a funny look when you explain what happened to them.
Lady once chewed the cord in two, that my other half uses to connect to his camera to download the photos. He yelled at her and she cowered, knowing she had done something bad. All I have to do is ask them, did you do this? They start to shake, cower and lower their eyes. They would make awful poker players.
I think Lady's chew fetish comes from boredom, so I try to remember to leave a rawhide for her to chew on, when I am not home, to give her something she can chew on that is all her own.
She and her sister CiCi would probably love to have shoes of their own, when the weather is wet, they hate getting their feet wet when they go outside to do their business.Private Reply to Marielena Alvarez (new win) |
