Hey Pit Bull Lovers,
If you haven't been to the website lately, here is a run down of what's been happening:
1. Max Met Rachael Ray - On December 24, 2007 Rachael Ray featured "Max" as a "Gift that Gives Back." She is truly a champion for the pit and all sheltered animals. Watch the clip at http://www.maxtheshelterdog.com
2. March is Reading Month - To celebrate this all important month, we are offering "Max" at a "Buy One Donate One" price. 3. Letters To Max - For those of you who have read the book to your child/children etc. we'd love for them to write a letter (email) to Max. Ask him anything you want, express your thoughts and feelings about our shelter system, the life of a shelter dog, pit bulls etc. They might even have a solution to the many problems faced by pit bulls and sheltered animals in general. 4. Discounts for Shelters & Rescue Organizations - We have received many request to offer "Max" at a discount to shelters and rescues to help raise funds. We just want you to know that we are in the process of fulfilling your request. It is very important to us to help out in any way we can :) More details coming soon...
And of course, please continue to spread the word about the "Kids for Pits Campaign." We are still in desperate need of photos. Our goal is 100,000, we have 382.
