Lost dog -- Found dog & High Anxiety

I found a little guy running around yesterday in an anxious panic. Collar, no tags and not neutered. Yippee.

So today I checked with my shelter, placed a classified ad and am listening to incessant, anxious whining and yipping. Whether he is in the room with me or next door he is stressed. Poor little guy. Poor me!

I am going to have to buy the Cesar Millan's DVDs. I really don't know how to work with this high anxiety. Sigh.

Anyone have any bright ideas or success "how tos" to share?Viveca

P.S. Please make sure your dog, your friend's and family's dogs have collars with tags. We all think "it" will never happen to us. With some 10 million lost a year, the odds are good it could.
