The website also directs people to practioners in their area - I found someone in Richmond - close enough for me.

The little guy is doing better. I did remember one thing Cesar said that is helping. He said to never touch or make eye contact with a dog that is anxious but to stroke them gently when they are calm. So -- all day long I've been waiting for him to be calm then stroking him gently and just breathing calmly. (I took some of that rescue remedy!)

Right now he is lying relaxed by my side. Little by little ...

I am also interested in that touch method for my volunteer work on the SPCA.

I don't have a lot of time w/ those dogs - 1x week - and I would love to be of more service to them in that time ...
