Hey there! This is Jerry Richard, songwriter and lead vocalist with the group, Tru Sol. Well, at around 7pm on Tuesday, August 17, 2004, I'm your host for a informal mixer of musicians that meets every Tuesday night at Under the Volcano, a bar near Rice Village (2349 Bissonet @ Morningside). And though there's usually no particular theme for these mixers, I'm calling for musicians to meet with area photographers/videographers to strike a business pose, if you will.
In other words, on Tuesday, August 17, 2004, if you are or know other photographers/videographers looking for potential clients/partners, this is especially your night to come show your work, meet a variety of Houstonians involved with making music happen (online and offline radio, television ((public/cable access)), webmasters, lawyers, authors/songwriters, etc.) over a brew (or a soft drink) and connect. Different music entities are always looking for good photos for their websites and for press. Visual work can also be a part of their stage show as well. Also, you photographers and videographers can work together to create something unique, just for attendees of this mixer on Tuesday, August 17, 2004.
Again, there's no speaker for the night, no program order, just have a drink and introduce and share yourself.
