Oct 13, 2004 8:02 pm How much should a CD cost
Lotto MagicZ4941
My coworkers are always like "download that babie" I have no musical talent however I do suport bands by buying their stuff. The only stuff I've downloaded is stuff I have but can't find. Just kind of the convenience factor.

Rolling Stone mag said Wal*Mart was paying $12 and selling for 10 but now they don't want to use CDs as a loss leader for bigger ticket items.

My local Wal*Mart is selling them at the $13 range.

I've discovered a few artist online. http://www.marillion.com and http://.BenParkDrive.com. Marillion also has some iffy stuff. But the first recording of their's I purcheced. Misplaced Child hood is awsome. I also have a Fish recording which is great. Not the hippy fish band but a member from Marillion.

Anyone here discover a great band online that you would not have known about with out the internet?

The most I've ever paid for a CD was around $17 for UFO's High Stakes and Dangerous Men. Tried to find it cheaper. Drove all over town but no luck. This was before internet was wide spread. I remember I waited two hours to get on the internet at UNC when they got thier first public internet connections.
