Sumit Singh		Hey All.. Especially Bruce.. Will check out your page after this weekend.. We play fusion.. we are Band @ Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.. We call ourselves as @ntariX (antariksh) aka Outer Space. We play fusion based on Indian Classical.. every composition of our's has a "Raga" attached to it.. and a "TAAL" (aka Beat) The Latest that we did is.. Mixing Arabic and Blues on Indian Classical Raaga called.. "Darbari Kanhra" on 7 Beat Cycle.. As for me.. I can Play 13 instruements.. all of them professionaly. Big time into World Music.. and that defines and guide our music. We are the only band in North India which uses Mohan Veena ( An Indian Classical Instrument having 13 Strings) and "Ghattam" that's a Karnatic Classical Instrument.. popularly recognized as the earthen pot to hold water. Actually there are so many of them.. that writing about them on a public mail intrigues me a little. we are recording out first album in december.. Have been doing soo many stage concerts.. most of them NOT for the Youth... they find it tough to relate to us.. amidst the whole lot of Remixed and electronic tracks. I would love to exchange notes with you.. and any one else who's into experimenting with new things and genres.. For that matter.. we even performed RIVERDANCE once..
