I don't believe it will work unless this network becomes published instead of moderated. Human nature being what it is, some members will forget the "rules", some members will ignore the "rules", and new members will be unaware of the "rules". Experience says even Richard, John, and Dharma will violate such rules at some point.
John could pull this off if all posts first came to him and he then published them. Of course, the workload would be overwhelming at times, and the flow of discussions would change, but there would be a single sticky for SGMM and they would carry a topic title for each post.
I don't think the effort and harm is justified by the gain.

Dharma could collect the messages independent of the network, add a topic line, and make a private collection for personal use using any text editor. So can any other member, meeting their personal needs personally. A much better approach, I believe.Private Reply to Ken Hilving (new win) |
