I'm just using the one Twitter account.

You can conduct searches and gather relevant people to follow by finding relevant people/groups they follow.

I looked up vegan, noticed a few vegan business people, followed them, and looked at those following them to see if I wanted to follow any of them.

People tend to be quick to follow if they are business oriented. Twitter people are quicker to follow mere acquaintances than on Facebook, where they want more personal connection before becoming your friend.

I'm also using http://ping.fm to coordinate my updating efforts. Basically, I can type my snippet in once, and it shows up on my Blogger page, my Twitter account, my MySpace account, etc.
