My experiences have been similarly positive, and quite rich. I joined Ryze at the invitation of a colleague who's work I love and respect, and found it much more vibrant than Linked In and several others. And then I started two networks, and joined several others. I definitely believe that you receive according to what you give or put into it.
I joined this past Spring, with a couple of objectives. I've not only met each of those, but also benefited beyond my expections in those and other areas. In that short timeframe, I've
** established two networks, both of which have drawn fabulous and insightful people to participate, ** experimented with the potentials for online dialogue forums, ** connected with a lot of new people, ** shared knowledge, encouragement, inspiration and experience, ** received the same from others, ** met several new kindreds with whom I'm exploring interesting business collaborations, ** reconnected with several people, ** participated in Purposeful Partners (another experimental business collaboration) ** had a flurry of new traffic to my web site, ** the same with my monthly ezine, ** the same with book sales...
All from just participating in the usual ways on Ryze. I think that makes it a worthwhile effort, with good ROI (return on investment AND return on intention).
The list could (and will no doubt continue to) go on. Like I said, and many of you know, it really is a matter of what you put into it.
Sincerely, Jamie
