Hey San Diego,
I'm Brett! I'm looking for work.
I've lived in San Diego since '89 so I call myself a Sun Dog. Graduated from SDSU in '99 with a Master's in Educational Technology.
Started computing in the early '80s with Apple II and Kaypro's. Destroyed and resurrected a 286 and a 386 trying to play games.
Helped other students in campus computer labs to pay for college. Caught a college dean's eye and held a full-time info tech consultant position where I did a little bit of everything (PC, Linux, Mac, HTML, SQL, Oracle, Filemaker, WAP, and 802.11) while managing projects and starting a brand new help desk.
In 2000 I entered the corporate startup fray. Until just recently I've been spearheading mobility software projects (Pocket PC, CE.Net, EVC, 802.11). I played the roles of, pre-sales engineer, user interface consultant, qa engineer, product manager, cheerleader, international road warrior, presentor, trainer. In the end there were too many roles and not enough left for me or my loves, so I left.
After a much needed breath of fresh air the fray beckons again. If you have or know of someone in need of my services send them my way! My resume:
