Well what if the very actions of the human race is part of Nature? How can we say we are accelerating destruction and decelerating sustenance?

Also,why should the present human race be living for a longer period of time? Why not a mutation occur and we get a new forms of life? Isn't that progress? Aren't we slowly changing our environment by trying to sustain and prolong our human forms and rejecting the creation of newer life forms?
