Job Description
As part of the Web Analytics team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall e-commerce analytics strategy, process, and organization which deliver information, insight, and recommendations to monitor, measure, and optimize the online business.
This position will provide leadership support, strategy and execution in the analysis of all website and online marketing activities including; data collection, developing tools and techniques for performance tracking and measurement, reporting of key performance indicators, providing quantifiable recommendations for site and marketing campaign optimization, and ad-hoc analysis as needed. Key to this role is the ability to provide data-driven insights which result in specific action plans and quantifiable business improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods preferred.
• 2 - 4 years related work experience with online retail e-commerce business
• Hands on experience with Omniture Site Catalyst (preffered ) or Hitbox
• Outstanding project management and leadership skills, ability to influence cross-functionally in rapidly evolving business environment.
• Excellent hands-on Excel & database skills.
• Extensive experience in advanced data analysis techniques and statistical methods, including data modeling, querying and reporting tools, metrics reporting, prospecting, business intelligence and A/?B testing.
• Strong background in business intelligence, analytics, and e-commerce.
• Proven record helping e-commerce businesses deliver profitable results through advanced analytics.
• Excellent understanding of website analytics, metrics and online marketing, Web 2.0 concepts.
• Conceptual understanding of HTML, Javascript & Flash
• Ability to establish relationships with internal business managers and successfully manage their expectations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to communicate analytics process and conclusions to business team.
