What a difference What a difference in the past 3 days. Two days back swirched on the air conditioner because the temo in the night was 80 deg. Tonight it is 54 deg.
The seeds are growing. There is a huge bunch of lettuce growing. The Salsa vegetables have got 10 seedlings.
For showing the kids , I have put 4 peas into a glass cylindrical tube( something like a single flower vase). Actually had some kitchen tissue inside it and made the peas sandwiched between the inner wall and the tissue. Remember the days of bean seed germination experiment? Two of them have started sprouting with roots. I have one more such with watermelon seeds, Have to see how that one grows.
Marigold seeds have been strewn in some parts of the garden yet to see them growing. I think the sunflower seeds that were strewn from last year;s flowers are sprouting.
Tulip season is over in most areas here. One can see empty stalks.Private Reply to Ganesh Ram (new win) |
