@Charu Sir,
Those points were eye opening.
But my point is, is it legal to engage in religious conversion in a public bus. Am I politically and legally correct to object for that act.
If this is correct then why can't I market my products in a bus. Why am I asked to pay money to advertise my products in a public bus?
Charu Sir,
For me religion is nothing but collection of customs and practices that evolved uniquely specific to the region based on various factors like weather, natural resources available and other geographical and natural factors. It should keep on evolving as we face changes in nature and in human daily. And GOD is no one but local heroes (humans) who either excelled others in valour or in kindness or in something mostly doing good. While believing in Muruga, Shiva, Vishnu, Sakthi, Jesus, Allah, Buddha I respect and pray my local Gods Mariamman, Iyyanar who are none but local heroes in that area later referred by common names. I do pray to my grandfather and grandmother the same way as I do to the other GODS, for they are GODS specific to my HOME. All my rational thinking on religion and GODS lead me to nowhere except this conclusion.
