Long back I studied the Law of Torts, which relates to damages for wrong doing including negligence. There is one Latin axiom “Res ipso liquitor.” Which means “Thing speaks for itself.” A man walking in a street in London was hurt by a drum that rolled of the first floor of the building. When he sued for damages the defense argued that he must prove negligence. The House of Lords decreed that drums do not roll of the first floors to the road by themselves. `The thing speaks for itself.' The post need not be read for the reactions to prove the `need to remove' the main post that can be understood without explanatory notes. Private Reply to charu hasan (new win) |
