Hi Deb,

Perhaps your Quick Launch bar isn't showing at all and this is why you can't find the vertical line?

In this case, right click on your bottom grey bar (when not pointing to anything specific on the bar) and choose toolbars and see if there is a checkmark next to the Quick Launch bar
