Google Says 5.5% Clickthrough Isn't "Quality" EnoughViews: 198

I logged into one of my clients Google Adwords campaign and was greeted with the message. "increase quality or bid $x.xx to activate."

Poor quality?  This was a keyword that I had written an ad for that I was getting a 5.5% clickthrough on!!!!!!

I was livid and all prepared to "raise hell" and dump Google Adwords if I didn't get satisfaction.  Fortunately, when I calmed down, I noticed that Google Adwords expert, Perry Marshall, author of the Definitive Guide to Google Adwords had recently had an audio session where he reviewed the recent changes to Google Adwords and explained how savvy marketers could actually take advantage of these changes.

I had a listen and learned a lot!  You can listen to the Google Adwords latest changes audio file at this link.  It may not be up that long, so you should listen to it while you can.
