While chatting with a prospective client, he mentioned a new MLM he was
involved in where he could pay the MLM money and they would build the downline
for him.
My comment was something like "Wow, how nice of them to let YOU pay THEM to
market their own business..." Guess I'm not subtle. :)
But it did illustrate that there are many people wanting to build a business
opportunity who lack the skills or time to build it themselves. Or,
alternatively, perhaps paying for an actual signup is better than paying for
advertising that may not work.
It occurred to me that I could sell down line members in my free advertising
system, the Free Traffic Bar. Because I do a lot of marketing myself,
there is a steady stream of new signups that are not in anyone's down line.
I could let people buy signups from me once the new signups had successfully
started generating credits. This would be a nice additional monetary
source.
The drawback would be that currently people can see the names and email
addresses of people in their down line. I think some people concerned with
privacy would not like this information shared.
What do members of this group think? I could probably find a way to
have only names showing with no email addresses. Would that still bother
you if you signed up for a service like this and another member knew your name?
