I tell my clients one of the reasons I know how to coach on this stuff is
because I made so many mistakes that I HAD to learn! :) And since I
made all the mistakes for them, they don't have to.
Funny how clear this is to me now, but at the time I was so fearful about
losing money by excluding a target audience. I was overwhelmed by all the
work necessary to provide all those products and services and to try to reach
all those audiences. Now it is so much easier - and a LOT more profitable.
I think people in MLMs are very susceptible to this as well. They are
bombarded with hype that tells them they will become rich with little or no
work. When the MLM doesn't deliver right away, they join more
opportunities and eventually they are trying to promote 4 or 5 opportunities
instead of one that might work.
I'm really noticing that with the free ads in my
Free Traffic Bar.
Since people are allowed up to 5 toolbar ads, some of them have almost 5
different opportunities they advertise rather than 5 products in a product line
for the same audience.
