Your wording is very good - perhaps the best possible under the
circumstances.
I'm just not sure that this method would work well. I don't mind
signing up for a free e-book, guide or video, but I wouldn't want to click on an
area that says it will provide the information and then be asked for an email to
see the page. On my site, I give away some e-books. The link on the
home page takes them to a more in-depth page about the e-book along with a
signup form. This approach works great for me with 10 to 15 signups per
day.
I think I would be put off by an approach like this.
