Do you read bumper stickers?  How about signs on vehicles next to you?

We automatically read while we drive.  (But please, don't put a book or newspaper on the steering wheel!)  And we don't just read road signs.  We read billboard ads, shopping signs and anything written on the vehicles around us.   Many of us have gotten a giggle from a well written bumper sticker. 

A company called ID.IT Plates now lets you put your web site address along with company name or tag line right on your car so you can turn your daily commute into web traffic building.  The signs retail between $39.95 and $44.95, so they are certainly an affordable investment in an advertising campaign that will continue as long as you own your car.  The company estimates that the average commuter would have their sign shown 1,000s of times a day as traffic flows around you.  And of course, it even keeps working for you in parking lots.

As the owner of the Free Traffic Bar (a free advertising service) , I have often used the tag line, "Market While You Surf."  Now you can "Market While You Drive."
